• SUNDAY 27 OCTOBER

11 am: TREASURE HUNTING IN FRANTOIO, team game for children and teenagers. Riddles and oil themed questions to solve to find the final treasure. After the game we will serve “bruschetta” for all participants. Is possible to reserve lunch based on our products.

1 pm: BIO-TASTING, tasting of products of our family farms "Antico Frantoio Petesse" and "Fattoria del Monte Puro": new oil on “bruschetta”, cold cuts and cheeses, cereals and legumes soups, and others typical Umbrian dishes (by reservation). For info and prices please contact us.

• FRIDAY 1 NOVEMBER

11 am: PIC-NIC AMONG OLIVE TREES, easy walk for families that will end with a picnic under olive trees. Delicious products of “Fattoria del Monte Puro” (by reservation). For info and prices please contact us.

• SATURDAY 2 NOVEMBER

11 am: WALKING AMONG OLIVE TREES, an easy walk to discover the history of olive groves included in the ASSISI-SPOLETO OLIVE TREES, recently recognized as FAO Heritage. About 1 hour journey, return visit to the mill and possibility of lunch (by reservation).

1 pm: BIO-TASTING, tasting of products of our family farms "Antico Frantoio Petesse" and "Fattoria del Monte Puro": new oil on “bruschetta”, cold cuts and cheeses, cereals and legumes soups, and others typical Umbrian dishes (by reservation). For info and prices please contact us.

• SUNDAY 3 NOVEMBER

From 4 pm till evening: “1919-2019 100 YEARS FROM THE LAST MOVMENT OF OUR OLIVE MILL”,  It’s been 100 years from the last movment of our frantoio. Come to celebrate with us the new location! Free tastings of new organic extra-virgin olive oil on “bruschetta” and live music.

• SATURDAY 9 NOVEMBER

11 am: WALKING AMONG OLIVE TREES, an easy walk to discover the history of our farm. About 1 hour journey, return visit to the mill and lunch (by reservation).

8 pm: “CENA DEL FRANTOIANO”, dinner with tipycal dishes from umbrian tradition.

• SUNDAY 10 NOVEMBER

11 am: "FRANTOI APERTI FOR FAMILY", a workshop for children. Children will discover the properties of olive organic olive oil. Suitable for children of all ages, duration 45 minutes. Free admission with booking.

1 pm, typical lunch with the gastronomic delicacies and lots of new oil! (By reservation)

9 am: NATURAL TREKKING AMONG UMBRIAN HILLS, medium-difficulty trekking through ASSISI-SPOLETO OLIVE TREES, recently recognized by FAO Heritage as an Agricultural System of global importance. Estimated time 3 or 4 hours, by reservation only. Return lunch is possible, please contacts for further information and reservations

Towards the UNESCO Application

Our "Band Olivata Assisi-Spoleto" has recently reached an important milestone: it has officially become part of the National Register of Rural and Historic Landscapes, recognition of this that sets a solid foundation for both the inclusion of landscapes of world interest that the FAO is census, both for UNESCO's recognition of the heritage of humanity.
The Olivata Belt that goes from Assisi to Spoleto, covers about 9 thousand hectares and crosses six municipalities: Assisi, Spello, Foligno, Trevi, Campello sul Clitunno and Spoleto. It is characterized by a historical and agronomic value unique in the world: it is an ancient landscape, built and shaped by man, who with stubbornness wanted to plant, grow and raise olive trees that, with tenacity, wanted to take root, grow and produce on steep terrain, stony and not at all fertile and where no other crop could ever survive. Thanks to this union of man and culture, today we have a territory full of ancient olive trees, species with primitive genomes, rustic and resistant, unique cultivation systems made of half-moons of dry stone walls and steps of limestone stones, aggregations of people who have built countries born with the sole purpose of cultivating and harvesting the fruits of hard work, of ancient mills that preserve millennial wisdom in the extraction of the precious extra-virgin olive oil that, thanks to the peculiar characteristics of this place, incomparable organoleptic qualities.
In this area men and territory merge to such an extent that it is unthinkable for man to separate himself from the cultivation of the olive tree as well as for the olive tree it is impossible to survive without human care.
This goal is a very important goal because it allows all the small producers of extra-virgin olive oil to value the fruit of their efforts and above all to save from abandonment an ancient cultivation that is so threatened.
Threats that are of an economic and environmental nature, which grow from year to year and which make cultivation more difficult and burdensome and which, without the appropriate recognition, risks to waste away and disappear.
But the "appropriate acknowledgments" are not only those of an inscription in a Register of Rural and Historical Landscapes, but they are above all those of all the people who have always believed in the work of small producers and in the true value of this product, because, it is evident that, without anyone to appreciate it, the cultivation would have already disappeared for a while without seeing the slightest shadow neither of a national recognition nor of a global one.
People, who year after year, continue to request this oil, aware that their choice, as well as guaranteeing it an unparalleled organoleptic and health value, contributes to the maintenance of a unique landscape, to the safeguard of biodiversity with a fragile equilibrium and the livelihood of many workers that with the sweat of the forehead they participate to keep alive our green-silver patriarchs.
We hope that this National Recognition will be able to appreciate, to many other people, the whole history, the territory, the people, the work and the love that are hidden behind a simple bottle of oil, and that all this may soon become a all of humanity.

· Every Saturday from 11: WALK THE OLIVE TREES, easy walk to discover the history of commercial olive orchards (journey time 1 hour), the return visit to the mill and having lunch (by reservation)
· Sunday, October 29 at 10e30: TREASURE HUNT IN MILL, team game for children and teenagers, minimum 4 participants, the prize for the winners and bruschetta for all participants, by reservation only
· SUNDAY 5 NOVEMBER from 4 pm: INAUGURATION OF THE NEW OIL SEASON 2017, big party for the opening of the new olive oil season with free tastings of the new organic extra-virgin olive oil on bruschetta and typical Umbrian dishes based on our company products organic and wild breeding ...
· Sunday, November 12 at 9: HIKING AND NATURE FOR THE HILLS UMBRIAN, medium-difficulty hiking, estimated time about 3h, the return Packed, by reservation only, contact us for more information and bookings
· Sunday, November 19 from hours 19e30: DINNER OF BENFINITA, dinner with the typical one-time, mixed grill of pork dishes (sausages, mazzafegati, ribs ...), herring and grilled bruschetta at will (by reservation only)
